Yes, the Anderson County Fair employs the City of Anderson police department to provide for the safety and protection of patrons.  No firearms are permitted except for police.  Security wands will be utilized at the entrance gates for your protection!  Anyone 17 or younger not accompanied by a parent or legal guardian may be asked to use Gate 4 for fair security.  Please report any unruly or suspicious behavior to the nearest police officer.
